EAS visited the first international textile fair of the year 2020: the Heimtextil in Frankfurt.

The largest international trade fair for the home textile industry, interior design and interior trends, Heimtextil, took place from 7 to 10 January in Frankfurt.

Heimtextil is a world reference in commercial relations which this year had the participation of more than 3,000 exhibiting companies, from 65 countries around the world, and with the visit of more than 67,000 people from 156 countries.

All the new features, trends and products presented during the days of the fair mark the beginning of the season and also stimulate the commercial activity of the exhibiting companies and the professionals attending.

Thanks to its solid experience, it is an unmissable event for decision-makers, buyers, producers, sellers and representatives.

At EAS we are satisfied with the commercial visit to the German exhibition, in which we were able to meet with more than 40 companies from 12 different countries: Spain, Turkey, Egypt, France, Czech Republic, Portugal, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Russia, Turkmenistan and Morocco.

We would like to give a special mention to the exhibiting companies from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, which have shown particular interest in our products for automation in the textile industry.

Heimtextil on its 50th anniversary

For the celebration of its 50th anniversary, Messe Heimtextil shared in their website an interesting content that gathers the main challenges it has taken on since 1971.

In addition, during the show it held a special evening where it presented the film “50 times touched by textiles”, a brief explanation of how the haptic experience of textiles always touches us again each time.

Another interesting area in the show’s program was “Textile Technology Talks”, a space for presentations where companies showed products and services highlighted by topics such as sustainability, industry 4.0, Big Data, artificial intelligence, automation, digital printing and self-organized manufacturing systems.

The Heimtextil exhibition has been a good way to start the commercial activity on 2020.
