EAS was present with its representatives in Ethiopia and India at one of the most important exhibitions for the promotion of the textile industry in Africa.

The event organized by the non-profit organization India ITME Society and the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA), has focused this 2020 in Addis Ababa to promote the textile industry and technological integration in Ethiopia and other African countries.

According to the organizers, the event received 1791 visitors from 35 countries around the world. Exhibitors from 15 countries showcased their technology in the engineering sectors of wastewater recycling, dyes and chemicals, pumps and valves, logistics equipment and more.

For EAS, this exhibition has been a strong contact with today's market. ITME Africa 2020 gave us the opportunity to attend important meetings with local companies interested in automating their textile production.

We have had meetings with potential clients from Ethiopia, Singapore, India, China and other countries to whom we have explained how we can carry out their most ambitious projects to manage completely their plants and strengthen ties with our representatives in that country like NOVAC and Alentec Trading.

As always happens in an international event of this kind, we had lots of new contacts interested in our automation systems with whom we would like to establish a relationship in the future.

ITME AFRICA 2020 is a pioneering event set to be a catalyst not only for the textile industry, but also for the technology and engineering sector across the African continent. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director of the ITME Society of India, added that this exhibition will be instrumental in establishing Africa's textile footprint by standing out globally, further developing bilateral trade and connecting with new markets in Africa.

Ernesto Maurer, President of the Swiss Textile Machinery, said: " I am happy with the first day of attendance and the presence of many of these companies shows the diversity of the exhibition. Ethiopia can take further steps to reduce the gap; if it starts soon the results will be seen in short term".

To all African dyers and textile finishing companies interested in improving the automation of their processes, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have local representatives like Novac or Alentec  who are familiar with our solutions.
We will be happy to hearing about your projects. Contact us!
